The rapid spread of the novel coronavirus, COVID19, has resulted in an unprecedented disruption to our daily lives. More than ever, even with social distancing as a best practice for slowing the spread, it is good to remember those in our Menendez Park and San Jose Forest community who are elderly and/or infirm and who might be typically isolated, more so now because of this disease. If you know of a neighbor in these circumstances, now would be a good time, if you are able, to reach out and ask if there is anything they might need, something you might do for them without exposing them or yourself to the disease. We’re sure that this simple gesture will be greatly appreciated and the strength of our community enhanced as a result.
